Appeal Letter For Traffic OffenseBy Clara Sun | Comments Off
Speeding tickets are the most traffic offense cases that most people are arrested for. If you have been awarded one, the best way to appeal against it to the authorities is through an appeal letter for traffic offense. This is how you can write the letter.
Introduction
Begin writing the letter by disclosing your personal information including your contacts. In the introduction part, also include the reasons for writing the appeal letter. You can explain that this is your first traffic offense.
The Offense
Give the reader more details about the alleged traffic offense that made the authorities to issue a speeding ticket. You can assure the authorities that the cause of the violation is already resolved.
Your Plans
In case the violation occurred as a result of mechanical failure, you need to give the reader a reason to believe that in deed the cause of the violation has been resolved and since it was your first offense, it will never happen again.
Suggestions
Give the reader an alternative to the speeding ticket or the punishment awarded according to your own opinion. However, this should be justified in your reasoning.

Oakland, ME 45628Dear Ms Palmer,
Receive my appeal letter for traffic offense for a speeding ticket that was awarded to me on April 4th, 2012 for over speeding along Keynote Street.
I am a law-abiding citizen and have never been involved in any violation of traffic rules. The offense was as a result of an accidental failure in my car’s speedometer and never realized it in good time.
At the moment, the problem has been solved and I have the paperwork to confirm that. I hereby confirm that it will never happen again and request that the speeding ticket be replaced with a fine that am willing to pay as soon as it is awarded.
I would be glad if you considered my appeal. Thank you.
Yours Sincerely,
Fidel Brown
