    The Scholarship Selection Committee,
    British American Scholarship Foundation,

    11th March 2012

I wish to recommend Ms. Monica Thompson for the British American Scholarship Award. I have known Ms. Monica Thompson for four (4) years now of which she has been a student in my department.

Ms. Monica Thompson has been a very determined and sincere student whose hard work has been a motivation to the rest of the student in her class and the institute on. She has always ranked among the top 10 students in her class since her first year and has received a lot of prizes and rewards.

I must note that despite her financial hardships, she has shown excellent academic results. She has also been working part-time in the communities’ library and works as a teacher of which she has managed to raise her school fees.

With her determination and perseverance, she has no let her financial problems stop her from performing academically.

I highly recommend Ms. Monica Thompson for the British American Scholarship Award.

    Yours Faithfully,
    Catherine Robinson
