When you want to rent a new house, you may be asked to produce a recommendation letter from your former landlord. This will be used to show the new land the kind of relationship you had with your previous landlord.
Introduction
Introduce yourself by letting the reader know who you are. At this section of the letter, give your name and contact details. Also do not forget why you are writing the letter. You may also give some details of your former tenant.
Experience with the tenant
Here you can give some challenges you experienced with the person you are referring to in the letter. These could include temporary delay in payment of rent if they have ever been there. Give a brief evaluation of how they have improved as tenants
Observations
Give a brief observation about the tenant. Show how various challenges you may have experienced with them may be solved. You may also give an example of how you have managed to make things improve with the tenant.
Suggestions
At this stage, give your views on what you think can be done to improve the relationship between the landlord and the tenant. This should have the support of previous conduct of the tenant with the landlord.

He/she is an ideal tenant and a honest person of integrity with strong values and ethical. You will notice this when you grant (tenant’s name) an opportunity to rent your apartment.
