Interview Invitation Reply Letter

    You should always reply to interview invitation letter or e-mail regardless of whether you accept or decline the interview with formal writing. The acknowledgments with the word thank you will give the interviewer an answer on whether you will be coming for the face to face session or not.

    We encourage you to acknowledge or reply to the interview invitation letter as soon as possible and this will give the good impression which makes you stand out positively from the rest.

    Even you have decided not to accept a job offer, you should decline politely in writing or by e-mail.

    Start the letter writing with the express of gratitude of the invitation. Express your interest in hearing more about the company as well as the open position available.

    Close the letter with confidence and not with arrogance. Try to close the letter with “I am looking forward to meeting with you to discuss this position further”.

    Remember to address the letter to the person who made the offer to you.
